My Pet Macrophage

Fat Fagio Stories

My Pet Macrophage is a collection of short stories showing how the cells of the human body work together to keep us healthy. The stories are inspired by the video presentation by Dr. Chris Exley as he refers to them as “housekeeping cells’. In the video Dr. Exley shows macrophages full of aluminum in the brain in autism.

Fagio is a resident brain macrophage and he comes down into the body to collect aluminum and take it to the brain for quarantine. He is usually accompanied by the Astrocytes, Ariel and Aria, who can transport him in the body.

Fagio is known to all the cells of the body and he is completely benign to all. He is a hard working environmentalist and is diligent is his work to collect aluminum. Fagio often gets into trouble and “The Girls” (Ariel and Aria) must come to his rescue.
